Viva! and Dean Farm Animal Sanctuary Pig Rescue
‘If I hadn’t been rescued, I would have never experienced the growing love of my mother, the feel of the grass beneath my trotters or how good a belly rub feels.’
Tom would have already been more than half way through his short life and in just two months he would have been killed for meat.
Your adoption would ensure that Tom can continue to live with his family and without fear. You would directly help Dean Farm Sanctuary provide for Tom and ensure his forever home truly is forever. Make Tom a part of your family by adopting him here: https://www.adoptafarmanimal.org.uk/adoptees/tom-rocket (you can also adopt Dotty, Hope Apple Blossom and her other piglets, too!)
We rescued Dotty!
We did it thanks to you! Dotty the sow is now safe in her forever home in the beautiful Welsh countryside at Dean Farm Animal Sanctuary after being rescued with Viva!. Watch her rescue below ...
Find out more about the rescue. Although Dotty is now safe, we still need help caring for her and all the other animals at the sanctuary and to help us save even more pigs through Viva!'s hard hitting campaigns. If you haven't already, please donate today!
Viva! and Dean Farm Animal Sanctuary have also rescued a sow and her six piglets from a pig farm going out of business. We are so delighted that we can offer them a life together in the beautiful Welsh countryside! Not only that, these pig ambassadors will help us educate people about the horrors of factory farming by juxtaposing their new lives with our shocking footage from Britain's factory farms.

"When I was doing the filming for the Face Off campaign, I saw so much cruelty and neglect. One of the overriding feelings I came away with was that I felt terrible that I couldn't rescue them all. But I was determined to find a way of rescuing at least some pigs. I hope this mother and her babies can represent the millions of their brothers and sisters that are still on factory farms. Hopefully through seeing them, and how wonderful they are, people will give up meat. Because, of course, the only way to truly rescue animals is to stop eating them." Juliet Gellatley, Founder & Director, Viva!
Whilst this Mum and her piglets are safe, most pigs in Britain are still factory farmed and sent to slaughter. Will you Face Off the British pig industry with Viva!?
