Kristen Bell has been vegetarian since she was a child. "I didn't like to eat meat: I didn't like to chew it, didn't like the taste or smell of it, and just wasn't having any of it".
The American actress is known for her roles on TV's Veronica Mars and in such films as Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Couples Retreat and Get Him to the Greek. She began her acting career studying musical theater at New York University, and made her Broadway debut while still a student. In 2002, she moved to Los Angeles and began appearing on TV. Film roles soon followed. In 2004, Bell landed her breakout role, the title character on the TV series Veronica Mars.
