Viva!'s Street Action events aim to raise awareness of the suffering of animals in Britain’s factory farms, how eating animal products affects our environment and promote the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. They are educational events for the public with one to one interactions and FREE information on a vegan diet.
Help us launch our new environmental campaign telling the world to go VEGAN NOW!
Time is running out. Runaway climate change and habitat destruction have become THE most profound challenges of our age. If we don’t act now, we will pass the point of no-return.
Looking beyond global warming and rising sea levels, Vegan Now focuses on the devastating effects of industrial meat and dairy farming on global nature and veganism’s potential to reverse the damage.
We will be showing the urgency in choosing Vegan Now with our new campaign video and optical illusion street art!
Speak up for the planet!
Please help us on the day to speak to the public and hand out our brand new environment leaflets. We need as many people as possible to join us so please share with your friends and family!
Keep your eyes peeled for info on our Nationwide Day of Action on World Vegan Day on Friday 1 November!
NO PORKIES STREET ACTION EVENTS NATIONWIDE
Our nationwide No Porkies campaign is ready to hit the streets and we need your help!
The No Porkies campaign will highlight to the public the grim reality of the British pig industry while showing people how easy it is to choose vegan.
In collaboration with V-dogs, we will be handing out free mini vegan hot dogs to passersby as well as chatting to them about our campaign and handing out leaflets.
We still need volunteers to hand out leaflets, hot dogs, hold a placard or chat to the public on the day. Email Tayana@viva.org.uk to volunteer at one of these events.
Viva! t-shirts and materials will be provided and you will receive a full briefing when you arrive.
Bring a friend!
We want you to bring along as many of your vegan and non-vegan friends as possible! Your mum, brother, friend, colleague, friend's sister's dog; everyone is welcome!
We expect there to be queues so make sure that you and your friends get there early to enjoy some of the pig-less treats.
