The Blackcurrant Squash is 17% fruit juice - pretty much the same as the more famous blackcurrant drinks (!) with which this has been made to compete, but without the red grape skin colouring. Made with organic blackcurrants from Italy and Denmark, the fruit content is not extraordinarily high, but this is the flavour level and price that Rock?s think people expect. Great flavour ? nice hot too.

The organic lemons in this squash come from Spain, Italy and Greece. The fruit content is 15%, which doesn?t sound impressive, but actually any higher proportion than this makes the squash too strong tasting. ?Budget? squashes can be made with as little as 5% whole fruit with colour and flavour added. Nearly all squashes on the market use artificial sweetener for cheapness, and the organic sugar Rocks use gives a noticeable fuller, more rounded flavour. The lemon flavour shines through ? crisp and zesty.
For this squash Spanish Navel oranges are used for preference, but during the summer months when these are not available, oranges from Uruguay replace them. Clean, and fruity with a nice zingy tang.
