‘Going Veggie is as easy as ABC’ say
animal welfare group
The Incredible Veggie Roadshow, which
comes to Brighton this November, will be showing
Brightonians just how easy it is to go veggie. Organised by the
animal welfare group, Viva!, it offers, ‘Everything you ever
wanted to know about going, being or staying veggie – or
moving in that direction’.
Ask any vegetarian what they eat and the answer might surprise
you - pies and pasties, bangers and burgers, nuggets and nachos,
rashers and roasts, fingers and fillets, chilli and chop suey,
hot dogs and hoagies, curry and cold cuts and all without a trace
of dead animal in them, plus a whole variety of other delectables.
There are so many tasty, affordable, easy-to-prepare veggie foods
available, you’ll be speechless – not from shock but
from cramming them into your mouth, claims Viva!.
The Roadshow is abrilliant, free day
out with cookery demonstrations, free veggie food tasting,
veggie stalls, competitions, talks, mother and baby section,
beauty products, vegan food products, books, information, campaign
news and free advice on having a cruelty-free Christmas. There
will also be a qualified nutritionist on hand to answer questions
on diet and health and every visitor will be get a free copy
of the ultimate guide to going vegetarian - Viva!’s hot-off-the-press,
40-page, full-colour magazine, It’s Time To
Go Veggie!
The Roadshow comes to Brighton on Saturday, November 27,
2004 from 9.30am to 3.30pm, at the Komedia,
Gardner Street. Entry is free. The
Brighton Roadshow is supported by Infinity Foods, Seasons
of Lewes and Terre a Terre.
“Going vegetarian has never been easier!”, says Juliet
Gellatley, Viva!'s director. “Everybody who goes veggie can
improve their health, help the developing world, protect the environment
and save animals. The Brighton show is an upbeat event which will
entertain and help them do just that. And it’s all free of
charge!”
