Viva! help push meat and dairy off the menu at VegfestUK London Olympia
Europes biggest veggie pressure group Viva! are helping push meat and dairy off the menu for thousands of people in the wake of the horseburger scandal and today announce a series of talks and demos at a brand new veggie lifestyle show at Kensington Olympia in October.
Members of the Viva! team including their founder Juliet Gellatley will be out in force at the London event in their quest to help more people go veggie, and their presentations include an examination of the safety of soya, a look at how the meat and dairy trade is decimating world wildlife, a cookery demo with simple and easy vegan options, and a new talk focusing on the menopause, hormonal imbalance and plant based diets. Viva! will also have a large stall full of information about the benefits of going veggie, recipe cards, leaflets, magazines, books and merchandise, ready for the expected 10,000 visitors to the show, many hungry not only for food but also information about the benefits of the veggie lifestyle.
Viva! have been supporting VegfestUk events for a number of years now, and Founder & Director Juliet Gellatley says

Viva! are the most proactive veggie group in the UK which makes them especially welcome to VegfestUK London. Viva! are at the forefront of the fight against animal cruelty in the UK right now says event organiser Tim Barford, and we really welcome their input at this event. Viva! have a reputation for exposing the worst conditions that animals suffer in the UK, and have never swerved from taking on the big boys, often with spectacular results, and are a massive inspiration to activists across the UK. Viva! really know their facts too and focus on the benefits to health, the environment, food production and animal welfare that a vegan diet can bring. Vivas talks and demos are always full of energy, passion, information, education and inspiration, and we are very much looking forward especially to their new presentations at London, including examining the effects of the meat and dairy trade on our Wildlife essential information for every budding conservationist.
