Viva! Campaigner

Do you want to work with Viva! – an active vegetarian/vegan campaigning group – to help save animals and the planet?

Applicants should be vegetarian or vegan, skilled in devising, organising and publicising campaigns and publicity stunts and at least partly experienced in the following:

* writing - being able to produce snappy and convincing copy for leaflets, letters to the press, features etc (training given if needed);

* researching and investigating – a range of diverse topics and writing referenced reports (see www.viva.org.uk/campaigns for examples);

* giving media interviews (training given);

* giving talks to the public;

* answering enquiries from the public;

* co-ordinating local group activities

Essential skills are being computer competent, creative, efficient, organised and highly motivated. We need friendly, outgoing and positive team players who can work under pressure and want to help create a veggie world!

Starting salary is £16,000-£21,000 depending upon experience.
