Feed
the World
Starvation and famine are not natural calamities. They are mostly
man-made - and the meat in your butchers' windows plays a major
part. |

| Livestock
farming is extremely wasteful. Land that can support two meat-eating
people can feed up to 60 people on plant foods. There are now
so many animals that huge quantities of food are imported from
the developing world - often the same countries whose children
die from starvation. By giving up meat you remove yourself from
this cycle of exploitation. |
