I went there a couple of times and have provided as much information as I can remember - Mondo Bio is most likely the only café in Sorrento to sell anything other than typical Italian dishes, which can be difficult for both vegans and vegetarians as many restaurant owners think cheese is always vegetarian, rennet or no rennet. Mondo Bio is located on Via degli Aranci, which runs parallel to Via Corso - find the train station and take the road which runs behind it. The owners of Mondo Bio are very friendly and speak some English - everything is organic and vegetarian, but I would advise vegans to ask which dishes contain eggs/dairy as it is not clearly labelled. |
