When Juliet founded Viva! back in 1994, she promised that we would campaign non-stop to save animals’ lives, in whatever way was most effective, to the very best of our ability. We hope that you feel that we have been true to our word. With your support, Viva! has helped many people go vegetarian and vegan, thus saving thousands upon thousands of animals’ lives. We have reached millions of people through our high profile campaigns – from ending kangaroo meat sales in supermarkets, to persuading Amazon and hundreds of other outlets to dump foie-gras, to causing a massive slump in horse meat sales in Eastern Europe.

We hope that you will be able to join Juliet and Viva! staff and supporters at our 20th anniversary celebration dinner. The venue is fantastic – the Erasmus, a spacious riverboat, boasting beautiful interiors and offering stunning views of the Thames. We embark and disembark at Westminster Pier, and the boat takes us on a cruise past many of the most iconic landmarks in London.

We have a special evening planned, starting at 6.15pm with champagne and a talk by our founder & director, Juliet Gellatley. You will be served a three course vegan menu of top gourmet quality, including half a bottle of vegan red or dry white wine per person. A cash bar will also be available. There will also be an auction, raffle, after dinner speakers including wonderful actress Jenny Seagrove, Wendy Turner Webster, Michael Mansfield QC and John Robb and disco. Winners of our special Viva! awards will also be announced. Funds raised go to our campaigns to end factory farming and animal slaughter.

“We enjoyed Viva!’s fundraising dinner in Bath and time spent with good company of like minds. The speakers were excellent, as was the whole time spent with Viva!. We have attended the past six dinners arranged by Viva! and enjoy every one, so much so that we are booking now for your 20th anniversary!” Margaret and Alan Mann
