Brussel Sprouts with Sesame Oil & Marmalade

Serves 4

7 minutes
Mixed with just-cooked sprouts (they should have a little ‘bite’), the sesame oil and marmalade give a zingy and unexpectedly yummy twist to this much-undervalued vegetable!

225g/8oz fresh prepared Brussel sprouts
2 heaped tbsp marmalade
1tbsp toasted sesame oil

  1. Cook sprouts in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain.
  2. Return to pan with marmalade and sesame oil and stir until sprouts are coated.
  3. Serve immediately.
