Heather Mills Complaint
Heather Mills was widely and wilfully misquoted by the Press and we are shocked and saddened that such an important message was overtaken by a chance to have a dig at Heather.
Complain to three of the worst offenders by emailing:
The Sun letters@the-sun.co.uk
Metro mail@ukmetro.co.uk
The Telegraph dtletters@telegraph.co.uk
A sample letter is written below although it would be more effective if you personalise it in some way:
Dear Letters’ Editor
I was appalled to see your willful misinterpretation of Heather Mills’ comments at the Viva! environment launch on Monday.
Ms. Mills was obviously making the point that drinking cows’ milk is unnatural for human beings– as would be rats’ or cats’ or dogs’ milk. When she mentioned alternative milks she was referring to soya, rice and almond milks, to name just a few.
Livestock farming contributes more global warming gasses than the entire world’s transport combined. To ignore this important issue and to twist Heather Mills’ words so spitefully seems be a gross neglection of your duty as journalists.
Yours faithfully,
8 York Court, Wilder Street, Bristol BS2 8QH, UK
