Viva! – Europe's largest vegetarian and vegan group – has recently launched an eye-catching range of vegan-friendly symbols, which can help you promote your products to an audience of vegetarians, vegans and dairy avoiders as well as the millions of meat reducers and health conscious people that buy animal-free goods each year.

For a single fee of as little of £50, you can register and include the symbol of your choice on as many vegan products as you wish, enabling shoppers to see at a glance that they are veggie friendly.

Use of the symbols can help build both consumer confidence and sales, by enabling people to see at a glance that your products have been independently approved as being suitable for vegetarians, vegans and dairy avoiders.

And through working with Viva! there will be opportunities to further promote your products to both our supporters and the wider public, thereby helping to increase sales further. Viva!:

• organise the successful regional Incredible Veggie Roadhows and national Incredible Veggie Show;
• have the largest number of supporters of any vegetarian organisation in Europe;
• produce the acclaimed magazine Viva!LIFE;
• produce many health, nutrition, recipe, shopping and travel Guides; and
• are very active in work with the media and directly with the public – giving us the means to promote symbol users.

Click here to apply for use of one or more symbols. Your application will be assessed within 28 days and if successful you will then receive a confirmation notice and invoice. Upon receipt of payment, we will send you artwork for the symbol of your choice.

If you own a shop, cafe or B&B you can also apply for use of our vegan symbols – just complete and return the application form.

And for the healthiest of vegan options…

Our sister health charity, the Vegetarian & Vegan Foundation (VVF), has also launched a set of symbols based on UK Food Standards Agency and EC guidelines. Stricter than Viva!'s criteria, to qualify for use of the symbols, products must not contain hydrogenated fats, exceed defined levels for sugar, fat and salt content or contain certain colours and preservatives. The VVF's new symbols are the only ones in the UK to guarantee that a product is not just vegan but healthy too so if your products qualify for their use they will be granted the 'gold star' of food symbols.
